Thirty days before the storm of Hurricane Katrina, Pastor Sheraton Walls went out early one foggy morning along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Little did we know that this photograph would become our Walk by Faith Christian wall art and a lasting testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Before leaving, we gathered a few items, thinking we would return home after the storm, but God had a different plan and path for us. We grabbed our Bibles and a change of clothes and made a few sandwiches for the trip to Florida, where we would stay with a family member. Just before we left our home, the Holy Spirit reminded Pastor Gail to get the disk containing Pastor Walls’ photos.

The photograph of the weathered pier became a powerful symbol of faith in our walk through life. God never said it would be easy, but that He is always with us in the good times and the trying times.
